Hey Everyone,

I am going to do a review on these mascaras that I bought from Sephora. It was a sample package, it had 10 different mascaras and they came in little 4.5 g bottle. Some of them are really good but some are just not that great. So lets get started with the review.
 

Now when you get a mascara you usually want one that can lengthen your lashes, give them volume and hold the curls and so that's what we are gonna be looking for in these ones too.

First I have this Urban Decay Sky Scraper mascara. It comes in this cute little bottle. It has this flexible wand and small bristles. It actually does a pretty good job on the lengthening but it didn't add so much volume to my lashes, and after a while my lashes started drooping down, not such a good job for holding the curve. It's also not a water proof mascara so I don't know if I like that. Also, if you use it with Urban Decay eyelash primer, you can get pretty good lashes.

Number 2 is the bad girl lash mascara from benefit cosmetics and it looks like this. It has a big brush, hope you can see them. I like this one. It lengthens my lashes and also holds the curls, doesn't do a very good job on the volume but it's not bad. Only one this about this one, is that it kinda has a weird smell and I can't decide if it's a good smell or bad...but other than that it's ok.

Number 3 is this Lash DNA mascara from Smashbox. It had this double helix wand and it's supposed to avoid the clumping. It does a pretty good job on everything but my lashes did clump a little bit and we all know that its so hard to remove that if the lashes get stuck to one another. but apart from that a good one to have.

Number 4 is the mascara from Laura Mercier and according to be this is the worst one in batch. It didn't do a good job at all. I had to put a lot of coats until I was satisfied with how my lashes looked but if I am in a rush to go somewhere I don't want to spend more than a minute on my eye lashes. Definitely not worth the price. I don't think I would be buying anymore of that.

Number 5 is this Supernova Fresh Mascara. I really like the bottle, it has this cute swirly design on it with stars on them. This is was one of the good ones. It did a really good job, no clumping or anything. I really like it although it might be a little less on the volume. but it did a perfect job for me. I would definitely recommend this to anybody

Number 6 is Sephora lash stretcher. I am not really a fan of the Sephora products, I bought a bronzer last month and I don't like it so much anymore. But back to the mascara, its not so good. Sephora products are so expensive but some of them are not at all worth paying that high price for. So a no no on that one.

Next is this mascara by Tarte, it's actually more of a lash stain. Its supposed to be really water proof and it's supposed to stay on for 4 days if you don't take it off. Well I don't think anyone is gonna wanna keep their mascara for 4 days straight. I saw a lot of reviews about this one and most of them were not that good. This is more like a liquid y stain and it didn't do anything for me. Instead I messed up my whole eye while putting this on the lashes because it's all liquid y and such. I don't like this one. I would not recommend this.

Now, number 8 is this cargo lash activator. I had never heard about this one until like 2 weeks ago. It has this flexible rubber wand and it's great if you just want to use it to make your lashes look bigger but other than that don't expect anything more from it.

Now the final 2 are the best of the bunch. one of them is hourglass superficial lash. I have always heard really good things about it and I was going to buy it but then I found out they had it in this sample pack. so I thought why not try it and then see if I like it and I really love it. It's amazing, does everything a mascara is supposed to. I would definitely give it a 5 star, worth the price.

The last on is the mascara by Korres. I only have one word for it, GREAT..It make my lashes look so big, I don't think I will ever need to wear falsies again. I don't know about you guys but false lashes make me really uncomfortable and I don't like them that much. This mascara does wonders to my lashes, and they look amazing. I would say, try it and I am sure you will like it.

Hey Everyone,

I am sorry for not writing anything for a long time, I was actually out for Spring Vacation. I went to Puerto Rico and had an amazing time. So this time I decided to write something about my favorite brand, Christian LouBoutin. I am crazy about the Louboutin shoes an I think they are absolutely amazing and elegant.

I recently bought 2 Christian Louboutin shoes and I am so excited to wear them. Christian Louboutin is one of my favorite brand and I love all the shoes. I already own 2 pair of boots that I bought last year and one of them were thigh highs. They are unbelievably expensive and that's why even though I wish to buy all of them, I can't. I just bought like 2 pairs of them and I don't think I will be buying anymore of those for a year...LOL...although I know that's not gonna work out. I love buying shoes and I know I will end up buying more...It's like every time I go shopping, it leaves a huge hole in my pocket so I have been shopping less now..But ya so back to the shoes, the ones that I bought are C'est Moi Booties in teal and Flower Sandals in Pink..

Lets Go D'orsay Pumps:

These Louboutin pumps are a fabulous addition to an already amazing collection of shoes. I love the color combination of Peacock (teal)/gold and amber with embroidery and crystal designs that makes this satin shoe looks so beautiful. It has a 4" heel and I am in love with the shoe.


Jolie Époque wedge:

I am not a big fan of wedge sandals but I think these are amazing. I love them mainly because of their color. I don't wear that many things that has gold in them and I am thinking I will definitely get these ones....someday

Straratata - Brocade:

I liked the old Straratata and I always thought I wanted them but when I saw these ones I fell in love with them. I don't think I love the old ones that much anymore. The style is very elegant with the Moroccan floral design and the color is fabulous. I think i will get these ones first. LOL

People who don't wanna spend the money buy the knock offs. They look exactly the same and they are cheap. I did it once when I was in my freshman year in college and I didn't have a job to pay for stuff. They were same, they come in a Louboutin box and it even says made in Paris...LOL...You can ask me if want a link to the website and they are very cheap around 100 bucks.. :)

Hello Everyone,

I am pretty sure that by now everyone knows about Christian Siriano and for those who don't know, he was the winner of the 4th cycle of Project Runway. He is a fashion designer. He has designed virtual prom wear for Gaia's, and for Bluefly. Last year he also came out with cosmetic line for Victoria's Secret and now he has recently came out with a shoe line for payless. The line was first seen in his runway shoe last September. I never used to watch project runway and hence didn't hear about him until a few months ago when I heard about his cosmetics line. I heard about it actually a little late and by them time it was all sold out so I didn't get a chance to try any of them out, I found them on eBay but people there most of them are just rip off. A little after that I heard that he is coming up with his payless shoe line. So I went on the payless website and check his collection and I must say I am not sure if I like them. I have read other people's reviews on it and I have heard other people say that they think the shoes are cute but in my opinion they are not that pretty looking but I guess it's just me, you might actually like them. I have seen other designers come up with a line and some were amazingly pretty. For eg: Alice+Olivia came out with their line for payless and I love them. You might find the Christian Sirianos cute but I am not really a fan of weird looking shoes and curved heels and I definitely don't wanna pay $80 for them. but I still am going to go to payless and try them on, see if they change my mind after wearing them or not..Here are some of the shoes from the limited edition, check them out and see if you like them.

I went to see Alice in wonderland today and had a wonderful time. What an amazing fairy tale!! It has always been my favorite since I was a kid and I read it in my English textbook.Although the film has gotten some negative reviews, it was a great movie in my eyes. I loved how the fantasy world was filled with  rich colors, the  costumes of all the characters, the makeup - it was just so mesmerizing. The storyline, I don't think I cared that much about because for me when I see a fantasy movie I really pay more attention to the background and the colors and the other things rather than the story.

 I loved all the costumes, Alice's blue dress was so beautiful..My favorite was Alice's red dress that she wears in the Red Queens court, the whole movie I was thinking about where I can get that dress. I also thought the Cheshire cat was so cute, I loved how his coloring was gray and teal. My another favorite was the Mad Hatter, I loved the colors around hid eyes...The only thing I didn't like about the movie was Anne Hathaway. I thought her makeup was too dramatic, I loved the white hair though...I guess I will make it my Halloween look this year....

But anyways, I would recommend anyone to go watch that movie. It is entertaining!!

Hello Everyone,

This is my second post and I thought I would do a blog on this year's Spring must haves. The time is finally here when you can put all the warm clothes at the back of your closet and take the summer clothes out, the time to wear all the cute dresses and short skirt that you have been waiting to wear the whole year. My spring Break starts in like a week and I have been waiting for it so much because Wisconsin has been awfully cold this year and I am going to Puerto Rico for my break so I am excited to get out of the cold and be on a warm beach and wear cute clothes, hence I started shopping for the break in January LOL...I am sure you guys have something fun planned for Spring Break too. So why not take a look at this year's popular trends for the Spring....

Here is a list of the items that you can wear during summer.

1) Beige:
Here is a useful tip if you have a boring beige colored clothing item somewhere at the back of your closet, than you can take it out and match it with a pale yellow or bright blue color and wear them this Spring. That way you Beige outfit will be of some use plus the the other color will give your a Spring/summery feeling..

2) Animal Prints:
I am sure mostly everybody has something that is animal print because it was a huge trend last year, so why not make a use of it this year too...you can match the animal print with a whole lot of stuff...if you have a bag, match it with some skinny jeans, a tshirt and thigh high boots, now I know that many people think that boots can only be worn during winter, but that's not true...you can wear them during summer too..why spend so much money on them and then never use them..right?? Also, if you have animal print boots, you can pair them with short skirts, and animal print leggings with black top...

3) Little White dress:
this is my favorite since I have never owned a white dress, I am really excited to get one. I saw a really cute white dress on edressme.com and I cant wait to get it. With the white dress, you can wear it with a jacket or a blazer and wear it to work or you can wear it without the jacket for a night out. Pair it with some cute gold pumps or sandals and you are good to go.

4) Over sized handbags:
Now I must say that this was a very popular trend last summer and I bought so many of them..I have an excuse to use them now. There are many sites where you can get handbags for really cheap like endless.com. I also know some people who buy the knock offs of the popular brands for like a $100...I guess nobody can afford to buy $1000 bags every time...and there are many sites where you can get these knock offs from

5) Pencil skirts:
I have been crazy about them since I saw Sandra Bullock wear them in the movie The Proposal...OMG they were so cute with black Christian Louboutin pumps...perfect for a day at work or a night out...just pair it along with a dressy shirt for work and with a cute top for a night out...

6) Denim Galore:
Denim jeans, skirts, vests..I am sure everybody owns a pair of these. Pairing them with bright colored tops and accessories would give them a classy yet a casual look and the bright colors will give a feel of summer

7) Thigh high or knee high socks:
I know that most people would wear them only during winter but paired with a cute denim shorts would be amazing. If you want you can also wear leggings with them and they would look great. Avoid wearing plaid skirts and the whole school girl outfit since Gossip girl look is getting kinda outdated and everybody is doing it so make sure you do something that looks different.

8) Boyfriend Blazers:
Try going with a bright colored blazer, like a hot pink or a purple and make it work with a simple pair of jeans and a top. Try making the outfit simple if the blazer is boldly colored because you don't want to stand out too much...( I remember wearing all pink one time, it was awfully pink and I looked like a complete idiot..LOL)
 

9) Sheer/See Through:
This is a huge trend going on since last year although I don't own a see through pair but I saw some very sexy yet classy see through lace dresses and tops in a bunch of stores and they looked amazing, you can wear them during the day or when you go out partying..anything works.

10) high Split dresses and skirts:
Yup, the high split dresses are back on the runway...they look great and if you can find a casual dress that you can wear during the day, pair them with heels and you are good to go. Pairing them with flats is going to ruin the look of the dress or the skirt so avoid doing that.

 Hello Everyone,

So today for my first topic, I thought I would do a review on Beauty from the earth cosmetics.
I got these multi purpose minerals from them and i just wanted to show you those and talk about them a little bit. I am sure most of you guys probably already know about the beauty from the earth cosmetics and have tried them out but this is my first time I wanted to give my opinion on them.
 

There are a lot of different colors to choose from. I ordered the sample jars and they were about 1 gram and cost $5 each. I got these products last week and I have been trying them out for a week now and they are amazing. These minerals are great and they are highly pigmented. I love the colors especially the bright ones :P. I won't say they are better than MAC pigments but they sure are comparable. I mean why spent a lot of money on MAC products when you can get something equally good for less money right. No offense to MAC products, I love them but every time I get something from MAC, it always leaves a huge hole in my pocket. LOL

Although there is one complain that I have, I bought a bunch of different colors and a couple of the light ones that I got, I put them on dry and it didn't stay on the whole night. I guess it would have been better if I would have put it on wet. But other than that, they work pretty well. My favorite of the bunch is blueberry, it is this realy bright blue color and it stays on amazingly well even when it's not wet. I did a look using that but I havent been able to put up any pictures of that. I will put the pictures on as soon as I can. Here are some swatches I made so that you guys can check it out for yourself.

These Swatches are done without a base. I haven't done all the colors, I have only don't the swatches of the ones that I liked and the ones that I have. Also, if I put up the pictures of the looks they might look different because the skin on my hands is so much lighter than the skin on my face.

Hello everyone,

This is my first blog entry so I would like to talk a little bit about myself and the blog. I am 21 years old, a college student and a Biology major. I am a positive person, I like to laugh and I believe in myself. I have a newly discovered passion for Fashion and Beauty. I am not absolutely amazing at it but I am learning and I am getting there. My hobbies are dancing, reading and playing games. I love chocolates and I never share them with anyone..LOL. My family and my friends are the most important people in my life and I love them a lot. I believe in Fairy tales and Happily Ever After stuff. I absolutely love love love Shopping. I don't use big words so my blog will not be filled with them (LOL)...I love traveling and I want to travel the world. I wish I had blue eyes and blond hair and I also always have wanted to model although I am not tall enough. I guess it's enough about me, you guys must be bored of reading.

I am going to talk a little bit about the blog. this blog is mainly going to be about Fashion and Beauty since those are my obsessions right now...I will also be writing about other stuff and if you guys would like to know about a specific topic, then please do let me know and I will do my best to write about it. Comments are always welcome. Negative and bad comments will be deleted since I don't want any negativity and life is too short to be pessimistic about everything.
